Radiating outwards from the chic city are awe-inspiring scenic wonders - the vast, windswept vistas of the Great Ocean Road with the Twelve Apostles to the west and the penguin paradise of Phillip Island to the east. To the north-east are the gently undulating Dandenongs and the Yarra Ranges.
