Rodeo Rocky: Book 2

Author(s): Oldfield, Jenny

Children's Fiction

Kirstie Scott never liked going to the rodeo, but when the guests of Half Moon Ranch heard about the event in town, she is forced to go along. After the usual bulldogging competition, the wild horse race began, and Kirstie could barely watch for fear that she might see a horse injured. During the race her worst fears come true; the fierce and beautiful Rodeo Rocky is wounded. Upset by the way he is treated, she persuades her mother to buy him. Soon Kirstie learns that training an ex-rodeo horse is difficult, doubly so when he has to be nursed back to health as well. But when Rocky throws Kirstie on a steep mountain trail she quickly realizes that the only way to get them both home safely is to trust herself and the unruly rodeo horse. What readers are saying: "This is the 2nd book in the Half Moon Ranch series and one of my favourites. The detail and story line is great. I would recommend to any horse lover " "This is the best book I have ever read. Jenny Oldfield's whole series is amazing. I like Rodeo Rocky though because Rocky reminds me of my pony.
